Objective

Engineer’s Day is commemorated to aware the Engineers of India their role and responsibilities towards the development of the country. The Engineers especially the Civil Engineers should consider Sir M Visvesvaraya as their guiding path. The citizens of the country should also understand the importance of Engineers and the work they perform of construction, instrumentation, and ringing new technologies in the world. On the occasion of Engineer’s Day a memorial is held for Sir M Visvesvaraya at his birthplace in Muddenahalli. Events, seminars, campaigns, workshops, etc. are organized on the Engineer’s Day.

Details of the Program

On 15th September, 2022 Vidhyadeep Institute of Engineering & Technology, Vidhyadeep University, Anita, Kim celebrated Engineers’ day at 10:30 am onward. This celebration was done by one event in seminar hall. All students & Faculties of degree engineering and diploma engineering were part of this celebration. Mr. Parth Patel was host of this event. Miss. Manisha N. Sawant gave introduction speech to explain importance of engineers’ day. After this speech was given by degree engineering’s I/c Principal Prof. Mahesh N Padia and diploma engineering’s principal Prof. Govind P Gagrani to encourage students about this day.

After this, there were four competitions organized by Institute namely Speech, Poster Presentation, PPT presentation and Logo making. Students from Degree and diploma engineering took part enthusiastically in every competition. All competitions were judge by I/c Principal Prof. Mahesh N Padia, Head of all department and most senior faculties of all engineering departments. After completion of all competitions, winners of all competitions were rewarded by gold medal for their excellent performance. Winners of the all competitions are as follow:

(C) PPT Presentation:

Priyanka Mahala (7th sem B.E. Civil engineering)
Anjali Patel (3rd sem B.E. computer engineering)

In the end, Mrs. Avani N Patel gave vote of thanks and completed this celebration.
