The celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi at Vidhyadeep University began with great enthusiasm on 26th August 2025. The day started with the grand Ganesh Agaman procession, where the idol of Lord Ganesha was welcomed with immense devotion and joy. The beats of the traditional Nasik Dhol echoed across the campus, creating a lively and divine atmosphere. Students, faculty, and staff actively joined the procession, dancing, singing, and chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya†with full energy. The beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha was then respectfully placed at the central pandal of the university, marking the beginning of a week filled with devotion, culture, and unity.
One of the special highlights of the celebration was the daily Arti schedule, planned department-wise, to ensure equal participation by all. Every morning, different departments came together to perform the Arti, seek blessings, and strengthen the spiritual atmosphere of the campus.
