The concluding day of Ganesh Chaturthi at Vidhyadeep University was celebrated with grandeur, devotion, and cultural vibrancy. The final day began with a soulful Maha-Aarti, which created a deeply spiritual atmosphere. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri Jayantibhai Patel (President, Vidhyadeep University), Dr. Hiren Patel (Vice President), Dr. Vipul Shastri (Provost), Dr. Vilin Parekh (Registrar), Shri Mukund Patel (Campus Director), along with faculty members and students from all departments. The collective prayers and devotion brought the university family together in unity and faith.
Following the Aarti, professional artists captivated the audience with mesmerizing performances. These included divine role enactments such as Hanuman, Krishna-Radha, and Shiv-Parvati, along with graceful classical and folk dance performances. The acts added spiritual depth while also entertaining the audience, keeping everyone engaged and inspired.
From 2:00 to 4:00 PM, students from different departments of the university showcased their cultural talents. Participants from BHMS, Nursing, Diploma, BA Arts, Pharmacy, BBA, B.Com, B.Ed, BCA, Science, and BPT performed dances, skits, and other creative acts. Each performance was filled with energy, teamwork, and devotion, making the event lively and memorable. The students’ efforts reflected their enthusiasm and love for both tradition and culture.
After the cultural programs, the celebration shifted into a more festive mood with DJ Dance and Garba from 4:00 PM onwards. Students and faculty members participated enthusiastically, creating a joyful and vibrant environment filled with music, dance, and laughter.
The most emotional and significant moment of the day came with the Ganesh Visarjan procession. With chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya, Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Ya,†students and staff bid farewell to Lord Ganesha. The idol was immersed with full rituals, marking the successful conclusion of the week-long celebration.
The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at Vidhyadeep University in 2025 was a grand success. It reflected unity, devotion, and cultural richness while strengthening the spiritual bond among students and faculty. From the Ganesh Agaman with Nasik Dhol to the final Visarjan, every moment was filled with joy and reverence.
