Vidhyadeep Institute of Science, Vidhyadeep University successfully organized ALUMNI MEET – 2026 (SANGAM) on 10 January 2026, commencing at 3:30 p.m. onwards at the institute campus. The programme was planned with the clear objective of reconnecting former science students with their alma mater, encouraging interaction among alumni, and strengthening long-term alumni–institution relationships. Alumni representing science batches from 2014 to 2025 actively participated in the event, reflecting strong continued engagement with the institute.
The entire programme was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Devanshi Patel, Alumni Coordinator. The event began with a systematic registration process, ensuring smooth entry and documentation of alumni participation. This was followed by a photography session, organized to capture memorable moments and formally record alumni presence. Subsequently, all participants gathered in the Seminar Hall, B-Building, where the main programme was conducted.
The inaugural session commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment, followed by the University Anthem. The Chief Guest, Dr. Vipul Shastri Sir, Provost, Vidhyadeep University, addressed the gathering. In his speech, he shared valuable insights on academic growth, professional ethics, and lifelong responsibility toward one’s institution. His address motivated alumni to remain connected with the university and contribute positively to society and the institution.
The programme continued with a special session titled “Old Memoriesâ€, during which alumni shared their academic experiences, professional achievements, and memorable moments from their student life. This session encouraged meaningful interaction and emotional connection among participants. To further enhance engagement, interactive games and activities were organized, creating an energetic and participative environment.
A felicitation ceremony was conducted to honor excellent and distinguished alumni for their academic and professional achievements. The programme concluded respectfully with the National Anthem.
Overall, ALUMNI MEET – 2026 (SANGAM) was successfully conducted and proved to be a meaningful initiative in reinforcing alumni bonds, fostering institutional pride, and strengthening enduring connections between alumni and the institute.
