The program commenced at 7:00 PM with a warm welcome address by the members of the Vidhyadeep Cultural Committee, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness.The evening featured a live Garba performance by the renowned artist Ms.Trupti Gadhvi is a celebrated folk and Gujarati singer renowned for her mastery of Garba, Lokgeet (folk songs) and other traditional genres. Her deep understanding of Gujarati folk music, classical inflections, and ability to connect with audiences of all ages has earned her a prominent place in Gujarat’s music scene. who captivated the audience with her melodious voice and energetic music. Students and staff joyfully participated in traditional Garba and Dandiya performances, showcasing their enthusiasm and cultural spirit.Throughout the evening, the event reflected the unity, devotion, and cultural diversity of the Vidhyadeep community. After the completion of the program, a special prize distribution ceremony was organized to appreciate the enthusiastic participation of students. Trophies were awarded to the winners in various categories such as Best Garba Costume, Best Garba Dancer, and Best Garba Outfit in both male and female categories. The prizes were presented by the honorable dignitaries of Vidhyadeep University — Mr. Jayantibhai Patel (President), Dr. Hirenbhai Patel (Vice President), Dr. Vipul Shastri (Provost), Dr. Vilin Parekh (Registrar), and Mr. Mukundbhai Patel (Campus Director) — who congratulated the winners and encouraged all participants for their vibrant performances and contribution in making the event a grand success.
