Under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Vidhyadeep Law College organized a Legal Awareness Program at Sarol Village on 04 April 2026. The program was conducted as part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan initiative, which aims to promote sustainable rural development and strengthen the connection between educational institutions and rural communities. A total of 24 students actively participated in this outreach activity, contributing to the spread of awareness among the villagers.
The main objective of the program was to educate rural residents about their basic legal rights and duties, along with promoting awareness regarding health, hygiene, and sanitation practices. The program also aimed to inform villagers about various government welfare schemes and legal remedies available to them. By doing so, it sought to encourage responsible citizenship and active community participation.
During the program, a group of 24 students visited Sarol Village and conducted interactive awareness sessions with the local residents. The students explained important legal concepts in a simple and understandable manner, focusing on key areas such as women’s rights, child protection, and consumer rights. They also addressed common legal issues faced by villagers and provided guidance on how to seek legal assistance when required.
In addition to legal awareness, the students emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness, proper waste disposal, and personal hygiene. They highlighted how good sanitation practices can prevent diseases and improve overall well-being. The villagers were encouraged to adopt healthy habits in their daily lives and to contribute towards keeping their surroundings clean.
The sessions were designed to be interactive and engaging. Villagers were given the opportunity to ask questions, share their concerns, and discuss their experiences. This participatory approach helped in building trust and ensured better understanding of the topics discussed. The students used simple language and real-life examples so that people from all educational backgrounds could easily grasp the information.
