On 18th March 2025, the Vidhyadeep Institute of Business Administration (BBA) organized an enriching industrial visit to Colourtex Industries Pvt. Ltd., Bharuch for the Second Year and Third Year BBA students. The objective of this visit was to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical exposure, enabling students to gain first-hand experience of industrial operations. A total of 55 students participated in the visit, accompanied by faculty members Ms. Riddhi Bhavsar and Dr. Kiran Patel.
The group was warmly welcomed at the industry premises, and the session began with an orientation by Mr. Ketan Fantasia, Senior HR Manager at Colourtex Industries. He provided valuable insights into the company’s organizational structure, product portfolio, client base, and the importance of safety protocols in industrial environments. This introduction gave students a clear understanding of how Colourtex Industries operates as a leading name in the textile and dye manufacturing sector.
Following the orientation, the students were divided into small groups and taken on a detailed plant tour. During this tour, they observed real-time manufacturing processes, production systems, quality control measures, and advanced technological integration. The experience allowed students to witness how theoretical management concepts are practically applied in corporate and industrial settings, giving them a strong foundation for future career development.
The visit concluded with an engaging interactive session led by Mr. Alkesh Rana, who spoke about human resource practices, employee engagement strategies, and the evolving expectations of industries from management graduates. His session inspired students to prepare themselves with the right skills, knowledge, and professional mindset required to succeed in today’s competitive corporate world.
As a gesture of gratitude, mementos were presented to the company representatives, and a delicious lunch was arranged by the host organization. The entire visit was effectively coordinated by Ms. Riddhi Bhavsar, ensuring a smooth and well-managed experience for the students. Overall, the industrial visit to Colourtex Industries Pvt.
