The Vidhyadeep Institute of Business Administration organized an Industrial Visit to Atul Bakery Multigrain Food Pvt. Ltd., Bhatpor, Surat, on 31st July 2025 for the students of the MBA program. The visit was effectively coordinated by Dr. Zankhana Atodaria, with Ms. Dipti Patel and Mr. Rahul Patel accompanying the students throughout the visit. A total of 26 students and one faculty member participated in this informative and enriching experience designed to enhance students’ practical business understanding.

The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with firsthand exposure to the processes involved in bakery product manufacturing, packaging, and distribution, and to bridge the gap between theoretical classroom knowledge and real-world industrial applications in the food and FMCG sector.

The visit commenced with a warm welcome from the management team of Atul Bakery. Students were given an insightful presentation on the company’s background, growth journey, and core business operations. They were then guided through the various stages of production, including ingredient selection, automated dough mixing, baking, cooling, quality control, and modern packaging techniques. The technical experts elaborated on essential aspects such as hygiene standards, production efficiency, waste management, and product innovation in bakery manufacturing.

During the interaction sessions, students engaged actively with the staff and management, asking meaningful questions related to production planning, costing methods, marketing strategies, and logistics management. They observed the practical implementation of vital business concepts such as inventory control, supply chain coordination, and customer relationship management, gaining valuable exposure to how management principles operate in real business environments.

Through this industry exposure, students:
