The Vidhyadeep Institute of Commerce & Management successfully conducted a highly informative session titled “Awareness of Banking Sector by Bank Era Academic†on 23rd September 2025. The program was held in Room No. 104 of the E-Building at Vidhyadeep Campus, Anita–Kim, and was specially organized for 17 students of T.Y. B.Com. The session aimed at enhancing students’ knowledge about the banking sector, its importance in the economy, and the various career opportunities available in private and public banking institutions.

Additionally, several accompanying members, including Mr. Prakash Trivedi, Mr. Raghwer Singh, Ms. Anu Jangid, Ms. Ruchita Sorathiya, and Mr. Rehnan Akahta, contributed to the smooth execution of the event.
The session began with a detailed explanation of the importance of the banking sector in economic growth. The speakers highlighted that banking acts as the financial backbone of the nation by safeguarding deposits, enabling loans, promoting entrepreneurship, supporting business expansion, and encouraging financial inclusion. The experts explained how the rise of digital banking, fintech integration, and cashless transactions has transformed the financial landscape of India.
The discussion then moved to career prospects in banking, where the dignitaries shared an overview of promising job opportunities such as clerk, customer relationship officer, probationary officer, credit analyst, branch operations staff, investment advisor, and risk management professional. Students were also informed about emerging job roles in cybersecurity, compliance, fintech support, and digital operations due to technological advancements in the sector.
A major highlight of the session was the explanation of how Bank Era Academic prepares students for private sector banking jobs. The experts emphasized that degrees alone are not enough in the modern job market and that students must be equipped with practical skills, communication abilities, sales techniques, and professional confidence. Bank Era’s training modules include banking operations, financial products, compliance knowledge, soft skills, interviews, and workplace etiquette training. Their placement support system helps students connect with various private banks and financial institutions.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students clarified their doubts and gained clarity about career paths, job expectations, and skill-building opportunities. The event proved to be extremely beneficial, inspiring students to prepare seriously for a bright future in the banking and finance sector.
