Vidhyadeep University Annual Sports Week – 17th January 2025 to 30th Jan 2025.
Vidhyadeep University strongly believes in the holistic development of its students, and this was clearly reflected during the Annual Sports Day start from 17th January 2025. The event was designed not only to promote fitness but also to encourage teamwork, leadership, and resilience among students. The sports calendar featured a wide variety of games and competitions, ensuring active participation from both male and female students.
One of the highlights was badminton, with singles and doubles matches for both boys and girls. The sport encouraged agility, reflexes, and strategy, while also creating excitement across the campus. The tournaments welcomed players of different skill levels, allowing everyone a chance to compete and grow.
Athletics formed another major attraction. Students participated in the 100-meter run, shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw. These events tested strength, stamina, and determination, inspiring participants to push their limits and aim higher.
Adding a traditional touch, the university hosted kho-kho, a game that emphasizes speed, teamwork, and sharp decision-making. Both boys’ and girls’ teams competed with energy and enthusiasm, making it one of the most thrilling contests of the day.
