The expert lecture was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Vidhyadeep Institute of Engineering & Technology (Diploma) on 28th February 2026. Mrs. Dharti D. Soni shared her 14 years of professional experience in structural design and project execution. She explained how theoretical concepts studied in classrooms are applied in real-time industrial projects.
Students actively participated in the session and raised questions regarding foundation design, concrete grades, structural safety, seismic considerations and career opportunities in core civil engineering fields. At the beginning of the session, the resource person was welcomed with a bouquet presented by HoD Mr. Divyesh Patel as a token of appreciation. The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by HoD Mr. Divyesh Patel, expressing gratitude to the resource person for sharing valuable industry knowledge and motivating the students.
