The site visit to ampub Survey consultant at Kamrej Gam was organized on 12th February 2026 for civil engineering students. The visit started at 10:00 AM with an introduction to the site and briefing about modern surveying practices.
Mr. Amit B. Chawda he is owner of ampub Survey consultant, Demonstrated various advanced surveying instruments such as Total Station, GPS equipment, and other modern tools used in land surveying. He explained the working principles, components, setup procedures, and field applications of each instrument.
Students were given hands-on experience in handling the instruments, taking measurements, and understanding data collection methods. Live field measurements were carried out, and the importance of accuracy and precision in surveying work was clearly explained.
A question-and-answer session was conducted where students interacted with the expert and clarified their doubts related to surveying techniques, career opportunities, and practical challenges faced on site.
